Application Fee
After ensuring the correctness of the details in the application form, candidates are required to pay the fee through the payment gateway on the RRC-South East Central Railway website integrated with the online application. Online fee payment through Net Banking or debit / credit card will be available upto 23:59 hrs of 25 October 2022. No change/edit will be allowed thereafter.
- General, OBC Candidates Fees :- 500/- (Rs 400/- Refundable after Trial)
- SC, ST, ESM & Women Candidates Fees :- 250/- (Rs 250/- Refundable after Trial)
- Minorities & Economic Backward Class Fees :- 250/- (Rs 250/- Refundable after Trial)
The SEC Railway Quota Recruitment 2022 payment can be made by using Debit card, Credit card and Net Banking etc by providing information as per the instructions on the your computer screen. Transaction charges, if any, levied by the bank for online payment will be borne by the candidates.
Railway Sports Quota Recruitment Age Limit
Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the Railway Sports Quota application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/ Higher Examination Certificate will be accepted by the Commission/ Department for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted.
- Minimum Age Required :- 18 Years
- Maximum Age Limit :- 25 Years
- Age Limit as on :- 01 January 2023
Must have been born not earlier than 02 January 1998 and not later than 01 January 2005. No age Relaxation (upper or lower) shall be permissible.

Railway Sports Quota Vacancy Educational Qualification
Pay Level 5
Candidates must have Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University. OR B.Sc. (Phy/ Comp./ Electr/ IT/ Instru.) for Tech-I (Sk&T)
Pay Level 4
Candidates must have Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University. OR Class 12th pass with Stenography (Hindi or English as per scheduled standards for recruitment in Railways) etc.
Pay Level 2 & 3
- Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination from a Recognized Institution.
Note: – For appointment against sports quota in Technician-III, the minimum educational qualification is 10th pass. However. the training period for such Sports Quota appointees will be 03 (Three) years, unless they pass/possess !Tl qualification in the relevant Trade. in which case it will be 6 months.
Sports Achievements
Category- (1)
Secured al least 3rd position in World Cup (Junior/Youth/Senior Category) or World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category) or Asian Games (Senior Category) or Commonwealth Games (Senior Category) or Youth Olympics
Category- (2)
Represented the Country in World Cup (Junior/Youth/Senior Category) or World Championships (Junior/Senior Category) or Asian Games(Senior Category) or Commonwealth Games (Senior Category) or Youth Olympics or at least 3rd position in Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category) or
Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category) or South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category) or USIC (World Railway) Championships (Senior Category) or World University Games or al least 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships or
At least 3rd position in National Games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympic Association or at least 3rd position in All India Inter University)’ Championship organized under the aegis of Association or Indian Universities or 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2022 Selection Process
Railway sports quota recruitment will be based on trials & assessment of sports achievements, Educational Qualification. The candidates, who are found FIT in trials, only will be considered for next stage.
Trial : Trials test of the candidates shall be conducted by Sports Trial Committee to assess their sports performance and suitability for Railway team as well as Indian Railway’s team. Railway sports trial committee shall give the recommendations in terms of FIT or NOT FIT for consideration for next stage as per criteria.
After Trial, only FIT candidates shall be considered for next stage by Railway Recruitment Committee. Recruitment Committee shall award 60 marks for sports achievements and educational qualification.
How to Apply for SECR Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2022
Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2022 On-line Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 25 December at 23.59 hrs. Candidature of such applicants who fail to complete online submission of RRC SECR Sports Quota application form by stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
- RRC SECR Sports Quota Online Applications are invited for filling up the posts of sports quota in western railway on Direct Recruitment Basis.
- Applicants must fulfil all essential eligibility criteria (educational qualification, age limit, etc.) by last date of submission of application forms in respect to that post for which they are applying.
