Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2022 Qualification
Chargeman
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Marine or Electronics Engineering or Production Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.
- Two years’ experience in the field of hull repair or general engineering and/or in Electrical or Electronics trades.
- Age Limit: 30 Years
Draughtsman
- Diploma in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical or Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture and Ship construction. or certificate in Draughtsmanship in any of the above said disciplines from an industrial training institute.
- Age Limit: 18-25 Years
MT Fitter (Mech)
- Candidates should have passed Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board/Institution.
- Two years’ experience in automobile workshop.
- Age Limit: 25 Years
MTS (Peon)
- Candidates should have passed Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board/Institution.
- Two years Experience as office attendant.

Written Exam
All the eligible shortlisted candidates will undergo written examination on the basis of educational qualification prescribed for the applied post. The written examination will be pen-paper based.
The question paper (bilingual; Hindi, English) for written examination will consists of 80 objective type questions with one mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking. The pattern of written examination for each post is as follows:-

Documents to be Attached with the Application
Copies of the following certificates should be sent along with the application. Original certificates should not be sent with the application.
- Educational and professional qualification certificates.
- Birth certificate (Matriculation Certificate).
- Caste Certificate, if you belong to reserved category.
- Residence Certificate. Character Certification.
- Copy of Experience Certificate. if any.
- Aadhar Card/ Any other ID Card.
- Two additional Passport size photographs.
- A Self-addressed envelope with postage stamp of Rs. 50/- affixed on it.
- Attach other necessary documents with the application form.
General Conditions And Instructions
- The envelope must be clearly super-scribed on the top as “Application for the Post of_____, Category Name_____.
- Fill all the columns of the application yourself, In plain and Capital letters.
- No cutting or over harvesting in the application.
- Candidates should not submit multiple applications for the same post.
- Incomplete, incorrect, wrongly filled, over writing, without signature, without photograph application will be rejected.
- The candidates must write their name, date of birth, father’s name and mother’s name strictly as given in the matriculation certificate otherwise their candidature be cancelled as and when it comes into the notice of the Indian Coast Guard.
