Indian Navy Apprentice Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have passed Matric / Std X with a minimum of 50% marks & ITI Examination (Provisional National Trade Certificate acceptable) in relevant Trade with 65% marks.
- Physical Standards: Height minimum – 137 cm, Weight minimum – 25.4 Kg., other standards as per Apprentices Act 1961.

Indian Navy Apprentice Selection Process
Written Exam: Written examination would be objective type consist of 50 questions with each question carrying one and half (1½) marks.
- Mathematics-20 Questions
- General Science-20 Questions
- General Knowledge-10 Questions
Interview: Candidates in the order of merit of written examination would be called for interview in various reservation categories and trades. Interview is based on the technical skills of the candidates in respective trade.

Candidates should reach their application form along with self attested copies of necessary documents at the following address before or on the last date of application By offline mode only. (Ordinary Post)
Documents to be Attached with the Application
Copies of the following certificates should be sent along with the application. Original certificates should not be sent with the application.
- Educational and professional qualification certificates.
- Birth certificate (Matriculation Certificate).
- Caste Certificate, if you belong to reserved category.
- Copy of Residence Certificate and Character Certificate signed by Gazetted Officer.
- Attested copy of PAN and Aadhar Card of candidates (Compulsory)
- Certificate, if son I daughter of Armed Forces personnel / Ex-Serviceman / Defence Civilian & Dockyard employees (as applicable)
- Self-addressed empty envelope with Rs.10/- postal stamp (for sending hall ticket to the candidate).
- Self-attested copy of Aadhar Card of the candidate registered on web portal.
- Attach other necessary documents with the application form.
General Conditions And Instructions
- The envelope must be clearly super-scribed on the top as “Application for the Post of_____, Category Name_____.
- Fill all the columns of the application yourself, In plain and Capital letters.
- No cutting or over harvesting in the application.
- Candidates should not submit multiple applications for the same post.
- Incomplete, incorrect, wrongly filled, over writing, without signature, without photograph application will be rejected.
- The details of eligibility, qualifications, terms and conditions, necessary documents. application format, syllabus etc. are available in the Official website of https://www.indiannavy.nic.in.
- Two original hall tickets (duly filled by candidate) with two recent passport colour photographs pasted at earmarked box are required to be enclosed along with Apprentice Profile.
